Jean Johnson - Sons of Destiny: The Flame

Review by: Sandy Nelson

Congratulations, Jean, you've done it again! They just keep getting better! To quote Oliver Twist, "Please, sir, I'd like some more." THE FLAME is as "hot" as one would expect from the title, and then some! Kor meets his match, and then some ... intrigue from Katan ... Danger from afar ... and all that in the first 4 chapters. Leisure reading just doesn't get better than this!

When you read any of THE SONS OF DESTINY books you will be entranced from start to finish. The Flame is no exception.

From the first words “Chapter one” to the last words “the end” you will not be able to put the book down. The twists and turns through out the book will have you turning the pages just to see what happens next. The way the characters are described, you can imagine what they look like.

While reading the book, I found myself, at times, laughing out loud and sometimes I had a tear rolling down my cheek. Now that I have finished The Flame, I find I want to find out what happens in The Mage, but alas I have to wait until the book is released.
